Ozone ARC

Ozone Arc is a speedwing specifically made for speedriding but also works nice for beginner and intermediate speedflying. In speedriding it will be a great partner for big lines, challenging conditions and unpredictable terrain. If you make some mistakes in skiing or flying – the work of the ARC will be to take you out from those troubles. Comes with thin light risers, durable sheathed lines and proper speedriding toggles. Trimmers has stitches which you can unstitch if you want to get the steepest glide for speedriding.

Ozone ARC construction details

Speedwing is made from light fabric but it is not super light like for example on the R3x speedwing so together with the sheathed lines it will survive some of your ski rolls. Arc has lower Aspect ratio than those speedwings which are made mostly for flying. It gives us easier control and better resistance to collapses. It has very predictable and rapid inflations even with tailwinds what is very important in real big mountains. Longer chord and stability helps the wing to stay stable on low speeds with deep toggle position while relanding back on snow.  Shorter lines of the ARC make it very easy to keep above your head while doing aggressive speedriding turns and braking. For all this speedriding advantages you paid by loosing approximately 15% of glide compared to Rapido 3 or R3x.

For whom is this wing?

The design team made Ozone Arc for those whose main activity is speedriding but they also want to do some footlaunching flying in summer. It will forgive you a bit more mistakes in skiing or flying than Rapido 3 or especially R3x. The next step in terms of performance after Arc will be the Pixel speedwing from Sky Paragliders.
